Skippers Technology has been servicing the marine industry since 1994.

Our aim is to continue to provide a professional, high quality sales, repair and maintenance service for marine navigation and communication equipment. Our clients, to date have indicated to us that the management, coordination and skill of the services we have supplied have been of great benefit to them.

All technical personnel have extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of a wide range of navigational and communication equipment. In addition to personnel based in Perth, Skippers Technology draws on a network of subcontractors throughout Australia.

Directors

James Bain - Managing Director
Jim has been associated with the marine industry for the past twenty five (25) years. He began his career with NIC Instrument Company in 1978 as a Scientific Instrument Maker and Repairer.

In 1982, Jim was promoted to the marine service section of Ansett Technologies where he gained a wide range of experience in the service of Marine, Aviation, Industrial and Medical Instrumentation.
In January 1995 Ansett Technologies sold their Perth office allowing Jim to take the opportunity to leave - thus ushering in the birth of Skippers Technology.

Jim has completed Post Trade Certificates in Industrial Electronics, Digital Trouble-shooting, Introductory Communications, Factory Training on SG Brown Range of Products, Training in Installation of AMI-GVF VDR/SVDR systems and Tokimec Equipment Service and Maintenance Course. Jim also holds a restricted Electrical Workers License (EW113746) and a restricted Radio Operators Certificate

Naomi Bain - Director & Company Secretary
Naomi is responsible for the administration, accounting and company secretarial areas of Skippers Technology. She is also responsible for ensuring quality control standards are maintained.
